What the app needs

Watermark.ws does the heavy work on our servers, so a batch of photos or a long video does not slow your phone down. That comes with a few conditions.

  • It needs a connection. Files are uploaded and processed on our servers, not on your phone, so there is no offline editing.
  • Download within 24 hours. Finished edits are kept for 24 hours. Your original files are never changed.
  • One tool is for computers. Removing a logo's white background works on a computer, not on a phone.

Is there a Watermark.ws app in the App Store or Google Play?
No. Watermark.ws is a web app: open it in Safari or Chrome and add it to your home screen. It then opens full screen from its own icon, like any other app, and it is always the latest version.
Is the watermark app free?
Yes. The free Basic plan has every tool and processes one file per edit. Premium adds batches of up to 5,000 files, signatures, Premium fonts, filters, frames and patterns. Compare plans.
Does it work offline?
No. Your files are uploaded and processed on our servers, so the app needs an internet connection while you edit, upload and download.
Can I watermark videos on my phone?
Yes, videos up to 2 GB each. The Basic and Premium plans process the first 30 seconds of each video; Ultimate processes videos up to 4 hours long.
Are my templates on my phone too?
Yes. Sign in with Google or your email on each device, and your folders and templates are the same on your phone and your computer.
