How it works

Step 1: Upload Your Clip or Photo

Drag your video or photo onto the page, or upload it from your phone. MP4, MOV and eight other video formats work, up to 2 GB per video.
Step 2: Design Your Watermark

Choose Text, type your @handle, pick a font and add a stroke or a shadow. Place it where the app buttons and captions will not cover it.
Step 3: Download or Share

Download the video, or on a phone send it straight to the share sheet. Free and Premium process the first 30 seconds of each video; Ultimate processes videos up to 4 hours.

An @Handle That Reads

Type your @handle or name and pick one of 300 fonts. Add a stroke and a shadow so it reads on bright and dark scenes alike, and lower the opacity so it does not cover the edit.

Crop to 9:16

Crop videos and photos to the Reel or TikTok preset (1080 × 1920), or to square and 4:5 for posts, in the same edit as the watermark.

Your Watermark as a PNG

On Premium, download the watermark itself as a full-size transparent PNG. Add it as an overlay in CapCut or any editing app that takes images, and it looks the same on every edit.

How do I make a watermark for my edits?

Open the editor, add a video or photo, and choose Text in the Watermark tool. Type your @handle, pick a font, add a stroke or shadow and set the opacity. Then apply it to your video here, or download it as a transparent PNG (Premium) for your editing app.

Can I get my watermark as a PNG?

Yes, on Premium. Download the watermark itself as a full-size transparent PNG, with your font, stroke and shadow, and add it as an image overlay in CapCut or another editing app.

Can I watermark a TikTok video?

Yes, when you have the video file. Upload the MP4 or MOV, add your watermark, crop to the TikTok preset if needed, and download it. Free and Premium process the first 30 seconds of each video; Ultimate processes full-length videos up to 4 hours.

Where should a watermark go on a Reel or TikTok?

Keep it clear of the bottom and the right side, where the caption and buttons sit, and away from faces. A small, semi-transparent @handle near the top or a side edge is easy to read and hard to crop out.

Can I use it on my phone?

Yes. Watermark.ws has a phone layout of its own and can be installed from the browser with Add to Home Screen. On a phone, Share sends the finished file to your other apps.
